Big day for me finishing books!
I would've given this 5 stars had i read it before The Candy House, but knowing what comes after and how compelling THAT is makes makes this a 4 star. It does add a lot of additional context to The Candy House that I didn't realize I was missing lol

I really did not enjoy this at all, everything seemed out of context and so loosely attached to the story itself. The one good thing I will say is the first chapter was quite enticing and I didn’t hate the last 10 pages but besides that it was boring and tough to follow! It hasn’t taken me this long to finish a book in a while and that is because I was bored and dreaded picking up this book.

This was an incredible book. I really liked the entire chapter written in power point format. Strangely, it is my least favorite of all the Pulitzer Prize winning novels I have read thus far.
Colby I think you would love this book! It’s about music, the music industry, pop stars, kleptomaniacs, and cunty women! It’s like an anthology more than a novel but it all comes together!
