Small Gods takes a more pointed approach to get a message across than the other Discworld novels I’ve read. Pratchett tackles themes of religion vs individual belief and faith while following a diverse cast. Characters will use religion for their own personal gain and power while completely forfeiting the beliefs of the religion itself. Even going so far as to gain a massive political advantage and “turning others into copies of themselves”

A timeless read that I really enjoyed and I think those with or without faith will find sustenance in reading it
