i actually enjoyed this so much more than i expected, i really liked the characters and this world has a lot to mystery especially surrounding the magic so i can’t wait to read more of that!

a complaint i have has to be that the writing felt very 2012, especially because of the damn exclamation points, but it wasn't unbearable and i know it’ll get better.

It was a really good book. It kept my attention throughout and I read it all in one sitting because I couldn't stop. There still a few things I don't understand but I'm hoping the next book will clear everything up. Highly recommend it!
