Havoc runs Prescott high. Bernadette knows what she’s doing when she says their name the first day of senior year. She has a list of names she wants revenge on and she’s willing to pay Havoc’s price in exchange for their help. Two yrs ago she was the victim of their brutality but now she’ll weaponized them for herself.

There’s a bit of suspended belief needed for this book. The violence and how they get away with it, especially when their victims are upper class, isn’t very believable, but the story line is a slight shift from your typical gang/mafia why choose. Mostly due to the lower income plot, the way anyone can hire them for their services, and the struggle to figure out their varying relationships. The last part is really what intrigues me about this series so far.

OK now I can see how this is going to continue to the next book because we’re still missing a WHOLE bunch of resolution.

I’m trying to figure out how the beginning meeting sophomore year happened what was the girls price for making her live for four months hell?! Why would they do that in the first place, especially Aaron.

Also, thinking are all of the boys going to be with her because it just seems like Victor is hogging a lot and very possessive.

Then you have almost all the characters I hate I don’t understand why they haven’t been taken care of in the permanent sense yet I’m hoping at least by book 3 will start seeing some permanent disappearances…maybe?!

I’ve never felt such discussed for a lot of the characters in here, but they are on her list so I can understand why she wants them to pay. My strongest feeling though is when we actually find out what happened sophomore year it’s going to destroy her and I am so nervous.

The only thing I didn't like is that this feels like the second book. These characters have a whole history that we know nothing about and is only explained in very small glimpses. I feel like it needs a prequel or something to bridge some gaps.

This is a dark high school reverse harem I got on a whim in KU. Thia was dark as it surprised me how far these HAVOC boys would go. There are a lot of TWs and darker than I thought. So heads up. The question that kept coming up constantly i it I realized I had to suspend my  belief because there is no way every adult are scared, like deathly scared of a group of 17 and 18-year-olds. Bernadette was a force and my heart felt so heavy with everything from her stepfather, her ex-best friend who sent HAVOC on her the previous school year. But now, Bernadette despite ALL of the that wants revenge on everyone and says one thing that starts the domínio effect- The HAVOC boys.
