That is one wild ride, lots of action, lots of violence, lots of heartbreak. The next book is a couple months out and I'll go a little nuts wondering how the author is going to get the MC's out of the hole they are in. This does have quite a few triggers (lots of violence) and a cliffhanger so be warned. Keep in mind that this leans heavily into the surreal and suspension of disbelief will be required to enjoy this book.
I LOVED IT!!!!!!!
5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
oh my God like I absolutely Freaking love this everything that I read was amazing I was enthralled by this book period from the beginning to the end yes. If you are looking for realism in a fiction bully romance design it this is not it but this was everything that I was looking for everything. This girl's life was havoc she is havoc havoc is she. And the author even said in the beginning this is what it is these men are a******* so if you read this book and didn't like it knowing they were a******* and that this was like a bully type of thing then it's your fault you didn't like it. I on the other hand absolutely positively reveled in the greatness that was this book. Wasn't perfect no but didn't keep me engaged yes finished it in The same day I started it. I don't care what anybody says about Victor Aaron calum Oscar Hael These are the men of my delusional dreams like in real life this wouldn't fly with me but in this book I Was with it every step of the way. Say what you want about Bernadette but I actually liked her she might have seemed like she was a doormat but the b**** got balls. She's a fiesty firecracker and she got people she trying to protect so it's understandable she'll be weighing her options she'd be thinking.
Now whose relationship do I like the best with her it's Vic I know it's wrong to like that but Vic and Bernadette for the win I am rooting for that relationship hands down he can be possessive hes loud. Now do I want to see her with the other guys as well yeah anybody but Aaron because I'm sorry I don't know if I feel like a errand deserves her at this point Wait he gave her up but we're gonna get to the story of why he did that I know it.
And the cliffhanger the cliff hanger I gotta reboot too I can't even have to read book 2 I did not think I was gonna like this so much I thought this was going to be a one off as gonna be like OK this is good but I don't want to finish the series oh my God I have to finish it.

I'm not entirely sure how to rate this, so I'm just going with a 3 star; because although this wasn't bad, it wasn't the best I've read in an enemies to lovers, new adult romance.
Before I get onto this long review, I want to start off by saying; if you plan on starting this series, I suggest not going into it expecting a realistic story because this is far from that; but if you're looking for a good time, something entertaining—than you just might find it in this book.

For the most part I was liking this, especially going in blind I had no expectations so I was able to just enjoy the ride. For the first 50ish % I was completely hooked and eager to find out what each characters individual story was, and how they all fit together as one. I was also excited to see what this series would be about and where these characters would take me.
However, after that 50% mark I started to get impatient because nothing was happening. I knew this was the first of five books so I just assumed this was going to be an introduction to characters and a build up to what's to come, but for me that's not what happened. Maybe I missed it, but why was Havoc created? How did these 5 guys with different backgrounds become this notorious group at such a young age? And how does Bernadette fit into this group? These are just a few question I would have thought would be answered in book one, at the very least given clues.
Also we weren't seeing HOW these boys were notorious and ruthless, but rather we were being TOLD this, and that's one of my biggest pet peeves in these kinds of stories. If they're badasses I want to SEE it (figuratively speaking of course). I think that if we were given their POVs it would have been better portrayed, because only getting Bernadette's POV made it hard for me to believe they were.
Speaking of Bernadette—she annoyed me. I'm not a fan of hers, and I hope by reading the other books in the series I will warm up to her, but right now I can't stand her. We are told how every person on her side of the tracks is struggling, but the way she talks you would think she was the only one. I understand and I feel for her and everything she's fighting and been through, but that sympathy and empathy disappears everytime she constantly acts like she is the only one struggling. I also would have liked for her to have some sort of back bone. These 5 guys made her life a living hell in Sophmore year and it took her 0.5 seconds to sleep with two of them...I'll leave it there.
Now it seems like I'm dragging the hell out of this book, but there were some positives to it. Like I said it hooked me in from the beginning and I do want to read book two to see if anything more happens. Plus I really like the guys- Callum, Oscar and Aaron the most and it's their stories I want to know more of. So although it had it's flaws, I'm not giving up on it just yet.

Stopped at an awkward point, reading mood shifted, days passed, gave up for this attempt. May come back to it some other time
It's her senior year, and Bernie doesn't have a choice—she needs the help of the HAVOC boys to get her revenge. She's willing to pay everything even if the price is her body and her soul. The only thing that Victor, Aaron, Heal, Callum and Oscar want is her as an HAVOC girl. Bernie might be in more than she had thought, especially when part of the price includes spending her life with them.
I heard a lot about this book, so I decided to give it a try. I was somewhat disappointed. There was something that didn't hook me in the story, but I'll try the next book to see what the hype is all about.

this book is too long for the story it is trying to tell. 200 pages would've been fine! These teenagers are doing all sorts of illegal shit without any consequences.. really?
i was in the mood to read trash, it did deliver so can't complain
