Overall, I really liked this book but it was absolutely riddled with errors that took me from the story. Also, there was way too much going on and it was an absolute cluster. Only 1or 2 of the issues should have been introduced instead of throwing them all at the readers.

3.5 stars. This book was hard to rate! The story moved along at a good pace with few slow spots. It was hard to read sometimes because the characters often make such destructive decisions, especially for their age. However, this was clearly an intended theme due to Bernadette's history of abuse, and she constantly acknowledges how her poverty stricken school and neighborhood leave little room for hope or healthy choices.
All of the main characters had distinct personalities. I thought it was interesting how Bernadette's relationships with each Havoc Boy progressed at totally different speeds, and there's really not all that much sex.
Haven't decided if I'll read the next book in the series. The cliffhanger was pretty good so leaning towards yes.

I was worried about this book not being great because it's set in a high school but it's very adult content. Some good spicy scenes and an ok plot. Good enough that I'm going to continue on reading the series.
This book wasn't great, or really even good. And yet, I read it so fast and am ready to dive into the next one.
OMG!!!! I was definitely not expecting to fall in love with the HAVOC boys!
There are so many questions that I have that went unanswered in this book. I honestly have no idea who I want Bernadette to end up with, I love the connections she has with almost all of the HAVOC boys. Thankfully book 2 will be here in January so I don’t have to wait long. This is my first book that I have read by this author and I am pleased I found it!! I will say however I would have loved to have learned more about the past of each of the members of HAVOC, we got some insight but I wish the author provided more. I also would have loved to have seen more interactions between Bernadette and her sister Heather and along with her mother. Overall, I am pleased and madly in love with these boys. Bad boys with good hearts are definitely my thing apparently❤️

This is a good example on why I don't like Bully and High School Romance.
For me I can't accept a 17-18 year old has a body full of tattoos, piercings, a body like a mid 20 something man. For me it just doesn't make sense. And I just don't like bully romance. It also doesn't make sense for me.
It was fine, but also.. Victor can't have it all. And there's so much still to unpack here.
Maybe I'll read the next book but I don't know.. The smut is great and the tension between them.
The guys blur together. The only ones that stand out are Victor and Aaron.
The other is just.. guys in a gang.
