A little different take than her normal books. I really enjoyed this one, even though the last big scene is a little unrealistic.

Hael, Aaron, Victor, Oscar, Callum, and Bernadette - Bernie looses her older sister and decides she needs the help of HAVOC. She has 7 stipulations for their help and they have 1: she becomes theirs forever. Reminds me of KOQ

The author in all of her books definitely uses themes and writing that pushes boundaries. In a good way. I am not usually one to read bully romances but I liked this one. I read reviews of it that said things like this don’t happen in high schools, but the sad thing is that they do.

I liked the FMC and that while she was strong, she still struggled at times. She struggled with her feelings and her choices. The various MMC were all different enough that they did not seem to blend together. She makes you love to hate them and hate to love them.

Overall it was a good read and I will continue the series. There were a few things that bothered me, like victor calling the artery in your neck the femoral which is actually in your thigh, and some nit picky things about the ballet shoes being described incorrectly and also how uncomfortable only wearing a leotard is.

The author throws you right in and grabs onto your emotions. From the through descriptions of characters to the scents and smells, you physically feel like you’re breathing in the smoke filled campus with the character.
