Well Milly has done it again! I absolutely loved this book from start to finish and I wish I had read it before now (it’s been on my tbr pile since publication day) it has only taken me a few days to read it which is fast reading for me as I just couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end! :)

I adored all the characters, they all have a different story but yet Milly manages to intertwine their stories amazingly. I was literally in tears in part of Palma’s story (I don’t want to put any specific spoilers in this review) I actually wanted to be a part of the Christmas Pudding Club myself and be on this journey with them all.

The way Milly has written this story she could actually write a sequel, I for one would love to know what would happen to each character in the future. I felt a massive bag of different emotions whilst reading this book - elation, sadness, joy, amusement and by the end of the book I felt all warm inside! (Just what I needed this time of year 🙂)

I have read a lot of Milly’s books (massive fan!) and this one is one of my top favourites! Thank you Milly for a gorgeous and beautifully written story 😊

I was hoping for a light and easy read in the traditional chick lit way. I wasn't prepared for a surrogate birth arranged by a drug dealer, traumas of the adoption to fall through due to a street fight, for old grudges to be taken care of at work, and for the spouse to cheat with the pregnant wife's mother. Everything turned out well and the ending was happy, even though one baby died.

Of the characters in the book, I think Palma was the best written.

The book didn't convince and I doubt that later I won't remember the story or the characters.

I love Milly Johnson books and I loved this one, a heartwarming and feel good Christmas tale.
The book is well written and the characters are interesting as usual.
The plot hooked me since the beginning and I was sad when the book was ended.
A very good, entertaining and enjoyable novel.
Highly recommended!
Many thanks to Simon and Schuster and Netgalley for this ARC

Eve isn't sure whether to laugh-or-cry when she learns of her pregnancy, Annie is ecstatic she is going to be a mum to a child she thought she would never be able to conceive and Palma finds herself carrying a baby her never planned to keep when the couple split up who she was acting as a surrogate for. The three mums-to-be join the 'Christmas Pudding Club', a group for sharing the highs and lows of pregnancy and they soon become firm friends helping and supporting each other though their life changing journeys.

This novel is brimming with romance, humour and heart! You'll find soon yourself rooting for the characters and becoming engrossed in their respective stories and giggling at the cracker jokes and daily trumpet articles sprinkled throughout. The appearance of characters from Johnson's previous books are brilliant I love to get a glimpse of what they are up to now. Though if you are a new Milly Johnson reader don't let that dissuade you, it really is a stand-alone story. So get cosy and absorb yourself in this heart-warming and at times heart-breaking read perfect for chasing those winter blues away!

Thanks to EDPR for sending me this in exchange for an open and honest review.
