Tropes: Friendship, Support Network, House Party, Class Differences, Fortune-Hunting, Wallflower and the Charmer, Nursing back to health, Mistress

(I read this last.) Meeting the Wallflowers and seeing their budding friendship was excellent. Each has a different type of desired husband, so they band together, using their unique resources to help each other. Because the friendship is so important, the romance is half the story.

Awsome!! This I think was a very good 'start' to the series. I actually found their romance quite sweet, and not too heavy, although very passionate ;) and actually, the best scene(s) in the whole book was the ending. Both Annabelle and Simon were good characters, although a little more backstory from both would have been nice. However again, as per usual, I can find no cause for complaint in Lisa's writing. ♥ ♥ ♥
