Found this a bit of a drag, it was quite boring so took me a while to get through.

I didn't like this book as much as The Secret Life of Trees. It felt a little disjointed and it was easy to stop concentrating, letting it become background noise.

A light and informative book. It read a little like a series of articles on a similar topic that had been strung together into a book. However, I learnt lots of interesting facts and there were many chapters I had further thoughts on that became great conversation starters.
