3.5 rounded down
This book was thoughtful and so much more insightful than I was expecting. I think after reading Jinger's, I was expecting this one to be of a similar level (so to speak), but the method of self reflection appealed to me more in this one. I'm glad Jill used words like "cult" and has done the work in therapy (and I'm glad her therapist seems legit) to begin to heal and break the cycle. She and her kids deserve that.
Note: My own personal rating system indicates 4 stars being a book I'd read again, and as this subject matter didn't quite fall into that category, I'm rounding down my 3.5 to 3 stars.
