Wow. Just wow. I grew up watching 19 kids and counting and every spinoff of this show. In my eyes they were the perfect Christian household, although extreme. Hearing of what Jill was put through her entire life absolutely broke my heart. She is so unbelievably strong. I know she defends her parents in this book, but I do not believe them to be deserving. The things they have said, done, and put their children through is absolutely horrendous. A MUST read.

I truly hope she has a nice, quiet life after all she’s been through.

I'm glad I read this one. It was really interesting to read Jill's perspective, especially after watching the Shiny Happy People documentary. I am shocked at how poorly the kids were treated and compensated for their labour. The ongoing drama of the contract was so wild to me - JBD obviously believes he is much more important than he is. I hope the IRS catches up with him.

Heartbreaking what she had to go through. Josh Duggar should rot in jail. I listened to it as an audiobook.
