Gosh this book was so sweet. My favourites were The Spring Tune, The Last Dragon in the World, The Hemulen Who Loved Silence, The Invisible Child, Cedric & The Fir Tree! Which I realize now is almost all of them. I’m almost done the series which makes me sad so I /really/ took my time with this book. I don’t want it to be over!

Some stories are more memorable than others. I do think about the fate of the invisible child every so often and how I felt like her at times when I was younger.

On a surface this is a children's story book, but almost every story described something beautiful about human (moomin?) connection. There was a lot of depth and relatability.

Did read this in Swedish as "The invisible child", but it didn't exist as a choice here.
