I had to read the final book to find out what happened, but I will say I did not enjoy it as much as the first two. The first two books were an escape for me, the mansion, the secret passage ways, the puzzles, traveling/adventures, the possibilities, the two Hawthorne brothers, the flirty banter, who will Avery choose? honestly they were just a lot of fun, an escape for my mind. This installment just felt like the author was trying too hard to create the perfect mystery, the perfect twist, it sometimes felt a different story completely... like I said, I'm glad I found out what happened, but I'm also glad to be done with this one.

.... Avery my anticapitalist queen! also oren is the only attractive guy here ( Thea and Rebecca r so cute thohfb slay) otherwise I hated this lmao it was like a hate read 2 Stars hnmm 1 for entertainment 2 for Oren ❤️

These books have a hold on me somehow... they keep getting worse and worse but the underlying mystery enigma is just compelling enough to trudge through 450 pages to find out.

If I end up having to keep a crossed out family tree beside me to keep track of who is who and oh no not anymore, psych, I'm getting irritated.

Also I think there wasn't a single likeable character in this series. 
Somehow though I might still read the 4th one? Can I escape? Please?

La historia atrapa (me refiero a toda la trilogía) y te mantiene enganchada hasta el final. Tiene muchos giros de guión y eso está bien.

the book feels kinda pretty little liars-esque with the "oh he is father but not really and the step mom of the daughter is actually not blah blah" LIKE BRUHHH so confusing for nothing???? Also everything getting resolved after a few games of chess?? No
