Literally so poorly written until the final twist...I think the author is a doctor irl...guess it just goes to show that STEM people should stick to STEMing. Might be the dumbest protagonist ever written??? I give two stars because I did not predict the twist.

I found the main character Sydney to be a little annoying. The overall mystery felt like it was trying too hard to be a twist. Some of the stuff to make it be who it was made other things not make sense.

I was sooo confident I’d figured it out, I’d even created a notes page to be smug - but I actually hadn’t figured it out at all…
I really enjoyed the first half, I felt quite attached to the characters and felt like it had been written quite well actually, but then the second half felt a bit like classic Frieda McFadden and a bit flimsy and rushed (wow so harsh). But I mean, here I am again, with a four star review because it’s not that serious is it? And I enjoyed it!

This is a story of First loves and future loves and how they cloud judgement of friends and foes
