No tengo palabras...

If you haven’t read Sherlock Holmes some of the jokes fall flat.

Delightful silly quick read. A great retelling of a lot of classic Sherlock Holmes stories. I really enjoyed it!

This is my second time through this book. It had been so long I had forgotten most of it.
It's amazing. It made me giggle, roll my eyes, and make exasperated noises from having to endure the embarrassments of the characters.
I can't wait to get the second book!

I do love a good fanfic, and this one was very funny! that said, I knocked off points for some casual racism that I think was trying to give "time period" but actually gave "unnecessary"

I liked the way the author included several different mysteries rather than having this one entire book be a study in scarlet.

When I first picked up this book, I had assumed that it would be a bit of a one-off joke. I read it because it was the only book I had around when I was moving and hence deprived of my normal bookshelf of books. I wasn't expecting much.

But I was pleasantly surprised! It's a very stupid book, with a very stupid premise, but it has alot of fun with that premise and the characters (mostly only very loosely based on anything like the originals) make for a solid cast for a comedic mystery series. Big props to any series for making Watson not only intelligent (as he should be), but an important part of the investigative team instead of obviously a sidekick.

I will be grabbing the following volumes of this book, for other times when I'm bored and deprived of books!
