I think it was quite a journey. I have read this author's many best-selling books. I would say that this book lacks thrill because of its constant plot twists, some people might enjoy those twists, but it was too much for me. I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it gradually and not too fast, but the problem is I lack patience. Therefore, I would rate this book as good as any other book by this author.

The book and writing style are making this an easy read. So easy, that I was able to start and finish the book in one day.
To be honest, so far it is one of my favourite books from this author. She managed to twist the murder mystery in such a really good way. Even the plot twist got my choking on my water as it was good.
Of course, I will not give it a 5 stars as it is not as good as As Good As Dead but it was fairly amazing.
I loved the dual POV (point of view) of one of the victims relatives and the POV of one of the "suspects" relatives while they are trying to avoid another disappearance and yet are trying to discover and dismantle the mysteries from 20 years and 5 years ago.

I was so disappointed after reading and loving the AGGGTM series this book was highly recommended but it was so anticlimactic. I didn’t find it engaging until the last 70 pages and by that point it was just confusing.. and then felt rushed. but the rest of the book just seemed boring and the “events” that happened weren’t overly shocking or making me want to keep reading!

I found it very cheesey. I also feel like the writing was rather juvenile. I had a hard time staying invested in the story. I didn't like any of the characters, and I was able to figure out the ending before it was the "big reveal".
