Who can resist a HOT brother’s best friend...

Especially in beautiful Breakers Bay resort. This insta-attraction story is fun and snarky and takes you through all of the “feels” with our lively characters. Meredith and Cole are written so realistically we think we know them, and love them. The Florida resort is sort of a character itself bringing memories of warm water sports to life on a cold winter’s day in this sweet sexy tale.

The is a fun, sexy, holiday romance. Cole and Meredith were not supposed to fall in love, the plan was to have a fling and go back to the lives they aren't happy living, but things don't go to plan. Brandon is overprotective and causes problems that should not exist but they all get it together in the end. This is a great start to the series.

The story is very well written and the flow is good, but I had trouble connecting to these characters. Meredith runs hot and cold through much of the book and comes across a bit teenager like instead of the mature business woman that she's supposed to be. Cole is the typical playboy who doesn't want a relationship when his attraction grows into feelings for Meredith. The story goes on a little more than I felt it needed to with the lack of communication, and other than this couple denying what they want, there wasn't much more to the story. I would've liked to have seen more of the story behind Brandon's business problems and Cole's past, but they felt almost like second thoughts when they came up. The author does write beautifully, this one just fell flat for me.
