Interesting way to learn about physiology

I can't recommend this book enough. It was captivating, informative, and fun to read. The complex biochemical reactions were described in easy to understand language, and it was fascinating to learn how each poison reacts in the body and the damage it causes. And then, being a lover of history I thoroughly enjoyed the true crime stories where each poison was used and the accompanying pictures. If a part two is ever written I'll be first in line to buy it!

Major detractor from this is that you can really tell the author is US-American.
