One must do what one despises to survive.

Anthony is one of my best-loved authors. In fact he may be my favorite. I've never wanted to be an author, but if I did, I would want to write EXACTLY like him. So when I heard about this very short novella on which [b:A Constellation of Vital Phenomena|18428067|A Constellation of Vital Phenomena|Anthony Marra|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1408313066s/18428067.jpg|19926928] was based, I could not wait to get my hands on it. In only 23 short pages I highlighted 7 quotes. He writes so achingly beautifully, and so vividly creates a scene that I did not even mind that this is taken almost page by page from Vital Phenomena. If you've not read this author before, this is a great way to see if you will love him as much as I do.
