HOLY COW THIS WAS SO GOOD! GOOD GOOD GOOD! *jazz hands*
I loved The Martian by Andy Weir, so I was fairly confident that I would enjoy Project Hail Mary, too. I honestly love PHM so much more! The story was so engaging and fast-paced, and our MC, Ryland Grace, is a very likeable and personable dude. The science was very sciency, but still accessible to me, a very un-sciency human. And that's all I'll say to avoid spoilers. But I will say that I highly HIGHLY recommend the audiobook! Ray Porter did a phenomenal job narrating this story. He did excellent accents, and brought the perfect balance of humor and emotional intensity to Grace's voice.
This will 100% be an audio that I will come back to again and again!

WOW! This is my first sci-fi read and it was incredible. Andy Weir really made the science digestible and entertaining. So digestible had me thinking 'should I go back to school and study physics?!' (LOL kidding). His writing style, wit, and sense of humor had me laughing out loud many times. I was on the edge of my seat from page 1 and loved the progression of the plot. I became attached to the characters and loved the ending. Overall: entertaining, emotional, and informative all my favorite things.
