Loved this book as a 19-year-old. Read it while I was at the Aspen Music School in the summer.

I'm sure my opinion on this book will evolve over time. It's thought provoking, to say the least. Though, it also provides proof that you do not need to agree with everything said or support things done in a book to enjoy it and appreciate it for what it is.

I drop a star every time I read this thing.

It's a young person's book. Love what you do and don't compromise your art. But maybe it's a bit more gray than she wants you to think.

After reading both the works of Ayn Rand and Eckhart Tolle (and enjoying both), it’s difficult to understand how they both have opposite goals yet both appeal to me. My initial thought is that Ayn Rand and Eckhart Tolle simply have different ideas of what an egotist is, but it’ll probably take months of thought to really understand.
