This is a gripping account of the horrific murder case of Karlie Pearce-Stevenson and her daughter Khandalyce. It was well-researched and well-written considering the grim nature of the event. It was easy to get caught up in the detective work and the forensic evidence, however, the harrowing details of the violence committed by Daniel Holdem can never be forgotten. This is a completely devastating novel, but I would highly recommend it for those interested in true-crime.

⭐⭐⭐⭐A detailed and very well written account of this horrific double murder case. It is told with compassion  and respect towards the victims and their families. The author provided a lot of detailed background information about both the killer and the victims making it a compelling read. Very few people who have heard of these crimes and the little girl found in the suitcase by the side of the road will ever forget the feelings these senseless murders invoked. #thelostgirls #avabenny-morrison #tea_sipping_bookworm #litsy #goodreads #thestorygraph #amazonkindle #bookstagram #bookqueen #truecrime
