Pretty good, but...

Honestly, I enjoyed this book for the most part. It started off good, chemistry & banter with some comedy thrown in there. It did get a little wonky for me when we find out that Nate tells Evie little “white lies” to get her to spend more time with him and do stuff for him because he has a thing for her. Also some of the stuff that happens is supposed to be for comedic effect, I think, but just ends up being weird or confusing and some things just didn’t need to happen or be said but I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. My major complaint about this book is the absolute abrupt ending. I stayed up late into the night reading this book and I felt very gypped by this ending. Even the bonus scene that you get when you sign up for the author’s newsletter didn’t do anything to help the end of this book. I still gave it 4 stars because it was cute and delivered on everything it said it would but it was still a little much to me.

New meaning to a fur bikini...

I bought this book because I read the excerpt, where Ryan tells everyone get can't get a plus sign on the white stick. I thought it was hilarious, and something I would want to read.

I was definitely entertained. I've read plenty of boss/employee romances, I often find them entertaining. While I think how both Evie and Nate handled their crushes like teenagers (he flexed, she shied away) Their chemistry was hot. Evie had a bad experience with a former boss, and she felt that repeating that same mistake wasn't okay. While Nate has only been with social climbers and has vowed to not be p**** whipped. Nate deals with a crazy ex, in a mink bikini who causes all sorts of trouble. The ultimate catalyst in the entire story because without her, we may not get it ever after. I will say I wanted to know what they had.

I'm interested to know what happens with Kim and Wyatt some of my all time favorite men are named Wyatt!

This book has an interesting storyline, but I really couldn't tell how the heroine felt. It was kind of odd, other than that I liked it.

Being super attracted to your boss does not help!

Evie has tried so hard to keep her relationship with Nate professional and is doing a good job at it until she has to rescue him from a bachelor auction. There's a reason why Nate asked her to help him at the auction. But they didn't expect to get married to each other and they didn't even remember anything. Not until she got pregnant..

I liked this book but I wish I could have felt more chemistry and heat from these two. Their relationship kind of rushed, like from from boss and assistant relationship, then straight up they're married. Even when they start to get around with their marriage, their romantic development is lacking. But there is a laughed out loud moments in this story.

4⭐️

A fun little ditty. I found myself slightly annoyed by the many different tropes that were in this book, but in general, I enjoyed reading this, though I would never feel the need to reread it.

Unexpected Love

I am a sucker for an unexpected pregnancy story. I found this book from a Facebook ad. I loved the premise. I enjoyed the story and loved the two main characters. Nate was truly a loving and caring person. He had Evie's best interest at heart. I loved Evie too. She didn't want him to think that she was after his money.

If you are looking for a happily ever after that takes you on a funny and emotional journey then dive right in.

Fun Read!

What a cute, fun read! This was refreshing and different from any other office romance I've read before.

The list of things Nate does to get Evie's attention is hilarious. Poor Evie! She's so focused on being the best assistant she can be, she doesn't realize what's going on.

Nadia Lee did a fantastic job of blending the fun, the funny, and the passionate and added just enough somber moments to create a heartwarming read. I've never read anything by her but I am a fan now.
