My first maren Moore book, I did enjoy it.

We have the main man Liam, single dad of two princesses, and ex-nhl player now coach in ice hockey. After giving up the player life, to look after his girls after ex-girlfriend cheated. He protects the girls due to him being in the spotlight. After accepting the coach position he has to hire a nanny due to the travel in the season. After tons of dead ends his friend suggests putting in the ad in the classified ads.

Juliet is a sweet and kind soul brought up by manna. Now struggling to pay for her and her nannas bills and with a bad job, it's almost like fate that, she stumbles upon an ad in the Sunday newspaper that says "nanny needed".

Liam and juliet try to keep things professional, but with the undeniable connection and chemistry between the two of them, they find it hard to resist each other. Seeing the relationship grow between each other and as a family is so heartwarming.

But like any relationship it has its rough patches. Do they have there happily ever after?? (yes they do).

It's a love at first sight romance for the both if them.

I absolutely love a single dad romance it’s one of my favorite tropes to read. I absolutely love this author. The first book I read by her was homerun proposal, and I instantly fell in love so now I’m slowly making my through all her books.

Liam definitely was the cutest girl dad ever. The way that he would braid their hair, and be overprotective, I think that’s one of the reasons I love a single dad romance because I love seeing a soft, sentimental side to a male main character. I absolutely loved his dynamic with his kids, and both of his daughters were so much energy, and they brought the best personalities to the book. Juliet was such a fun aspect of this book. She was very quirky and very clumsy. I thought that she brought a very fun energy not only to the book but also her relationship with the kids and Liam was so pure. It was absolutely adorable to read.

This book is definitely something lighthearted, it’s very easy to read in one sitting it had just a really good storyline, and the story was an overall a perfect romance. If you’re looking for a book that is just filled with cute moments, some of your favorite tropes, such as grumpy sunshine, close proximity, and single Dad. I definitely would recommend this book for you. It’s definitely something that is just very light and easy to read if you’re not looking for anything too angsty or too long I would definitely think that you would love this book.

Audiobook via Hoopla.

The narrators… I wouldn’t say they were bad, but I wouldn’t say they were good either. I’m thinking they were trying to match the writing, but when both narrators (but ESPECIALLY) the man would use a child-like voice it made me want to puke. Example “Dahddy pwease don’t fowget the backpack.” 🤢

The spice… there was some. 🥴 It wasn’t the best or the worst.

I listened to this book because I needed a pallet cleanser after reading so much dark romance. And I do like the more corny, sweet romances, but this wasn’t that good. It’s rare that I have a stank face when listening to an audiobook, but I pretty much had it the entire time. I pushed the speed from my normal 1.2 to 2 to get through the book as just something to hear.

Maren did it again!! She is my favorite author for rom-com!

Juliet is a sweet breath of fresh air. She is in the middle of a hard time with trying to care for her nana and pay bills. When a family tradition comes in play with an actual newspaper she finds a job for a nanny. Is this her chance to finally get a break?

Liam is a single father of two beautiful girls. He just took a job as a head coach for the Chicago Hockey team. While trying to juggle being a dad and his new job he realizes he needs help. His best friend Reed convinces him to put an ad in the newspaper for a nanny.

Liam and Juliet have some serious chemistry. And I give Liam so much respect by trying to keep those feelings at bay so he can keep this relationship professional. But Juliet just sees it him being hot and cold. When they finally give in to these feelings i was jumping up and down cheering for them. One thing I truly love is when book touch on the relationships ups and down. Which Liam and Juliet had, and they find a way to work them out. I truly believe they are destined to be together.

Liam & Juliet are everything! I can’t say how much I enjoyed this book enough, it was exactly what I needed. It is a swoon worthy romance that will pull at your heart strings & just make you wanna hug something.

Liam is a super grumpy NHL coach who is in dire need of a nanny to care for his two little girls. I won’t lie, I normally am not one for single dad tropes unless it is done right… & this was done perfectly! With Liam’s past & his own issues, trust is not something that comes easy for him if ever. Especially not when it comes to his precious angels. When he has no choice but to hire a nanny, he’s forced to break out of his comfort zone.

Juliet is a struggling young woman who just needs to figure out her life. With taking care of her Nana & struggling to make ends meet, she’s running out of options. When she finally lands a job she doesn’t despise, something else seems to get in the way… feelings.

I loved every single second of watching these two fall in love. It was beautiful, sexy, funny & I loved how Liam grew so much as a man. The spice was perfect for this story. It’s not overly spicy but the scenes we get are chef’s kiss! Liam can have my any day

I lovee this book it’s so cute and the emotions you feel reading this is just so raw and it’s just so good. You go thru this roller coaster of emotions with bot Liam and Julliet and you can just understand perfectly how they’re feeling and thinking. The girls and the grannies were adorable and I’m glad Julliet and Nana talked after the breakup because we understand the pain and emotions of everything Julliet was thinking and feeling but when Nana told her what she thought of the situation I felt we could see Liam’s perspective and understand why he did what he did. I loved this book from start to finish and I did it would’ve been longer to see if they added another kid to the mix.
