***MILD SPOILERS AHEAD***
I would say for me 3,5*/5* . The art is very beguiling (and that is probably why I added the half point). However, I'd say the story caused me some "uhmm...ok" moments and not in the good way. It were mainly the chapters involving the whole daughter-in-law whatever situation which felt kind of forced, considering how the whole problem got solved easily. But what I did like the most was the ending and I liked the message of how the stories can be transferred into myths and legends meshed together with values suited for the people of a particular era (as in this version of Shim Cheong, people used Shim Cheong as a symbol of dedicated and obedient daughter for young girls instead of portrayal of a rather cruel ritual and unfair treatment of many women in that time).
Also, I enjoy when an author picks up an old folk-tale and rewrites it- combining the main storyline/elements and adding their unique "what if" twist.
End of my humbly-irrelevant opinion.
