a lovely thriller that i consumed in a day. so very easy to read! amazing.
a very surprise ending - even though i've read so many of these thrillers now that i should really predict these things by now haha.
i really liked heather - she was a very compelling character. and i liked her with her little investigating gang. i like that she has been in prison - she is not averse to housebreaking and threatening violence.
t m logan is a great author and i really want to read some more of their work

It just wasn’t gripping me and I was losing interest.
okay so first of all- do not mess with a mother, especially when it makes her lose her children. Hell would have to freeze over to keep Heather from her babies which she proves pretty well. Women scorned is one of the best tropes in thrillers but T.M. Logan really encapsulates how far a woman can and will go when pushed. Written incredibly with a vast cast of well developed characters, I found it absolutely propulsive. This is my first y this author but it will not be my last, consider me indoctrinated into the cult of Logan- what an absolute banger

The end of the road for me and TM Logan. This book could have been taken 4 pages. Everything else is useless, dragged, boring details. Fillers. It feels like one of those theses that must have 10.000 words so the author decided to say the same thing in 20 different ways. "The page was folded in four. It was old and crinkly" bla bla bla.... It takes him two chapters to read the six words written on the page. Which was all useless.
