Another good thriller by T.M logan. Another Easter egg reference to Nottingham Panthers.
The Mother is a gripping thriller that follows Heather, a woman framed for her husband's murder, as she uncovers the truth behind her case.
The book had really good pacing, well-developed characters, and seamless transitions between past and present. It had multiple suspense moments which made it truly captivating!
I had a great time reading this book and would 100% recommend it to a friend.

Started off as a promising read and then I did not recognise if it was the same author who wrote the ending?! He goes into soo much detail in begging chapters and then by the end he just flew past the closure argument?!
10 years ago, Heather was sentenced to prison for the murder of her husband. Now she’s out and ready to clear her name and get her children back.
T M Logan is one of my go to authors but I found The Curfew, the last one of his a bit disappointing. I enjoyed this one and I’m glad the last book was a fluke.
The main character prides herself at one point of having the skill of being able to read and judge people. I can confirm, she definitely does not have this skill.

I enjoyed this book and the concept itself was very interesting - I also thought the paranoia of the protagonist was clearly palpable throughout which added to the realism. I will say it got a bit far fetched at times but I guess that’s par for the course with the genre. Overall I enjoyed it and was a nice first book of the year

This was alright. Well paced. But I found the ending a bit contrived.
I absolutely loved this book! I was hooked immediately and I read it so quickly. I have no idea how the author thinks up these incredible plots but they just get better and better. They are so gripping and this one was very exciting. The characters were amazingly written in this book as well!!
The storyline was so intricate and well planned out. The truth doesn’t come out until the very end, there’s a lot of suspense about what could have happened but I could never have imagined what actually happened. This book continued to keep me guessing and it had me doubting every character in some way. I love how unique these plots are, they are all page turners. This book started on a cliffhanger which made it even more exciting, I was waiting until the point it all fell together.
Heather, the main character, was such a strong and determined character. Everything that she has been through and has to go through in this book is incredible. We read in her perspective from the past chapters when she is discovering her husband’s body and then we read in her perspective in the present day when she has just been released from prison. Despite everything that happened to her, she still fights and keeps herself motivated to getting what she wants.
This book had me picking it up whenever I had a spare five minutes because I was so eager to know more about the plot and the characters. Also with the book having shorter chapters, it made me feel l like I was reading a lot in a short amount of time. I was sad when it ended because this plot was so intricate, but it was a very satisfying ending. I will always highly recommend this author and his books, they are all incredible!
