This is a fantastic thriller, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I was engrossed in it from the first page, as the writing is so good that it just draws you in.

The story is about a woman called Heather, who is framed for the murder of her husband Liam. She goes to prison, but later, she is allowed to be released early. She is sad because she is not allowed any access to her sons. At the beginning of the book, we are shown her at her own fake funeral, and there she sees her sons, who are older now, but she cannot talk to them. She does everything she can to find out who killed Liam, joining up with some people to help her find out the truth. Will she get to be a Mum to her sons again?

I loved this book, and I highly recommend it!

Many thanks to The Pigeonhole for a copy of this book.

okay so first of all- do not mess with a mother, especially when it makes her lose her children. Hell would have to freeze over to keep Heather from her babies which she proves pretty well. Women scorned is one of the best tropes in thrillers but T.M. Logan really encapsulates how far a woman can and will go when pushed. Written incredibly with a vast cast of well developed characters, I found it absolutely propulsive. This is my first y this author but it will not be my last, consider me indoctrinated into the cult of Logan- what an absolute banger

Really enjoyed this and didn’t predict the ending!

I don’t read many crime/thriller/suspense books so when I do they tend to make an impact. For the same reason I’m really green when trying to work out who did what and why. I didn’t see the end coming at all with this one & was barking completely up the wrong tree! A great little page-turner.
