And just when you think it can’t possibly get any better, I swear picking up my first Tracy Lorraine book was the best thing I could have ever done. Ever since I’ve had the amazing opportunity to read some of the best real, raw, dark and gritty stories, and this one of a perfect example.
This fifth book in the Knight’s Ridge Empire does exactly what it’s supposed to do, it picks up right where Deviant Knight left us, with Theo and Emmie and their connection that they can’t seem to fight. But remember that Emmie is a born fighter and she’s not going to stand down, no matter how much her body wants to.
In true Tracy style, her stories come in threes so this is not the end for these two and I cannot wait to see what comes next for them, I have soo many questions that will hopefully be answered soon.
Go read this series, especially if you like to read stories a little on the dark side.

Emmie was too annoying for me. Almost dnf. Theo is only reason I kept going
Gah! Tracy Lorraine, you are the most wicked and the most deviant author I am a hopeless fan of. Your cliffhangers are epically brutal. What the heck am I supposed to do now? Just as I was utterly engrossed in Theo and Emmie’s heartbreaking yet beautifully Romeo and Juliet-esque love story, you pulled the rug under me. As always, the complexity of the plot and the hidden truths were exquisite and I am hoping for the last book of the trilogy to come sooner rather than later.
The first thing that came to mind when I came to write this review was the phrase "the course of true love did never run smooth". If this doesn't apply to our couple Theo and Emmie....I dont know what does!
This picks up straight off where the previous book left us....and poor Emmie has some major truths to deal with. And who's on her side or not? Is anyone that Emmie thought cared about her genuine?
But as much as Theo seems to be the bad guy here, you can't help but also see how strongly his feelings for her are - and how quickly they're escalating.
So yes. He's keeping her trapped in his apartment. But is it to keep her away from people or for her protection...? The actions he takes because of his possessiveness and need to know she's safe wherever she is, are the wrong ones which just push her further away.
As the days merge with her trapped, Theo thaws and really opens up to Emmie, who is torn between her biker side and her mafia side.
I love how Seb and Stella are still included in the story, and play quite an important role in this too. Emmie needs to know she has people at her back, as everything happening with Theo has her questioning her entire life.
With that in mind, she takes a step back to her old life in Lovell, trying to see if she fits into that skin still...Just before she gets up to leave, her old friends stumble across her and talk her into staying to party with them as its her friends birthday.
What a cliffhanger.....! I'm hoping that the indication isn't what it is but argh!!! We won't know till the next book!!
I love these mini series from Ms Lorraine. The world's created are so detailed, and all the characters are important and play a role. Have to wonder which couple will be after Theo and Emmie...!! There's still Callie that needs to be paired off and I'm not sure about who that could be with!!
I received a copy of the ebook in return for an honest review

I love theo and emmie however I really miss the banter of the wider friendship group. Liking that the rebel Ink characters were invoked
Love how much theo has fallen for emmie
It felt like it dragged a bit but really looking forward to the final book in the trilogy

This book had me screaming. Emmie made me so mad even though it was completely necessary. Theo has got a lot of making up to do. THAT ENDING THOUGH. I’m so ready to read the next book and for their trilogy to come to an end.
Uh! Let’s start at the gasp worthy cliffhanger! Seriously gasp worthy but so is the rest of Deviant Princess. It’s full of new truths & secrets are revealed. But mostly we get to see Theo’s softer side (lol if you can call it that

I absolutely love Emmie and Theo! I cannot get enough of their story. The angst between these two has carried on from the first book and dare I say has gotten even more so. These two really go through it in this book and Emmie made a decision that had my heart absolutely hurting! I want so bad for their lives to just get easier and to figure out a way to make it work! The cliff hangers at the end of these books continues and has me immediately running for the next one.
