I loved this book! It was difficult to put down, and I thought about it when I wasn't reading. I enjoyed getting to know Harriett better and enjoyed seeing her relationship with Captain Jamison develop. This story had a great mix of lightheartedness along with some seriousness. I can't say enough about how wonderful this book truly is. It is well written, has great characters, and a wonderful plot line. I definitely want to read this book again and again.

I can't wait to try more books by this author. This is just what I needed-a clean fluff book. While there were way too many miscommunications in this book for my taste, I did like how the author weaved them into her story. The miscommunications were a character trait/flaw by one of the protagonists rather than two people being idiotic.

3 Stars.

I'm a huge fan of Rachael Anderson and am always excited when she has a new release. She's a master at writing engaging clean romance, so I couldn't wait to start reading The Pursuit of Lady Harriett. It did not disappoint! I was captivated from the very beginning to the very end and had such a fun time reading it. This book definitely kept a smile on my face throughout the entirety of the story.

Lady Harriett is constantly irritated by Lieutenant Jamison and his antics, but at the same time, inexplicably drawn to him. Lieutenant Jamison finds great delight in pestering Harriett. He constantly seems to one-up and outwit her, which further infuriates her. They're at odds a lot, but their chemistry is off the charts. The back and forth banter between them was so entertaining and provided many laughs. There were many heartwarming moments, too.

The Pursuit of Lady Harriett was a wonderfully delightful, feel-good romance that I highly recommend! Even though this is book three in the series, it can be read as a standalone just fine.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and comments are my own honest opinion.

I didn't realize this was the 3rd in a series but that didn't matter because the story stands on its own merit without having the background of the other stories and those characters that appear here as well.

In the craziness of today's world and how anything seems to go, it is nice to sit back and read a book that kissing is as far as it goes in the romance department. I also enjoy going back in time when men woo'ed women and while women were not meek, they had the grace to let the men do the chasing...with a little help from the women pointing them in the right direction.

Christopher is a strong male lead but he is woefully lack in his wooing skills much to Harriett's chagrin. But even with his faults he manages to win her heart, but he did have to work at it in the end.

A wonderful story and well worth reading.

This set of books was really fantastic! I've read all three of the novels as they came out. They're all good. I really enjoy her writing style. There's plenty of romance and the stories are always so interesting with fascinating characters. I recommend all three!
This book was fantastic, like the others. The main characters were interesting, there was lots of interesting dialogue between them, and they suited each other fantastically. It was very fun to read, never boring, always kept me wondering what would happen to them next.

*I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.*

I've been meaning to read a Historical Romance for a very long time and knew that this was going to be a good one from the moment I read its synopsis and decided to join the Blog Tour for it! I haven't read the rest of the books in the series but, I'd really like to considering the fact that, this one was so interesting and well written. And I'd definitely like to keep on reading and discovering more lovely books of this particular genre!

The plot itself, as well as the characters were quite entertaining and I found myself enjoying their easy banter and great chemistry. Even though the story didn't blow my mind, it definitely sucked me in and made me enjoy it more than I'd hoped. Harriett and Christopher were very likable and I immensely enjoyed the romance going on between them. Throughout the story, we got to see their relationship develop at a very steady and natural pace, which was truth be told, very refreshing. It wasn't inst-love, which is quite common in books these days. On the contrary, they just fell in love with each other slowly and maybe without even realizing it.

Harriett was also a wonderful heroine since she knew what she wanted and fought for it. She also never shied away from a challenge and knew how to face with courage and determination. Christopher was the perfect match for Harriett, since he let her express herself but at the same time, was by her side for whatever she needed. His playfulness definitely won me over and made me like him even more as Harriett's love interest!

Overall, The Pursuit of Lady Harriett is definitely a book worth reading, especially if you're looking for an enjoyable and refreshing Historical Romance! It's a very well written book, with playful characters and a very entertaining story line! It'll make you laugh, swoon and want more! As for me, definitely picking up the rest of the books in the series as soon as possible! Hope you guys found this review helpful and hopefully, it'll make it easier for you to decide whether you want to give this book a chance or not!

I have loved every book in the Tanglewood series but I think this is my favorite! I was interested right at the beginning and couldn't put it down! I finished it in one day (decently short) but I told Chris and Harry together :)

I was unsure about this book at first. One of my favorite things about the regency era is the charm and the manners... so to have a hero that was seemingly without those had me a little worried. Similarly, while I completely resonated with Harriett's feelings over the way that Lieutenant Jamison treated her, I’d rather wish she was one of those heroines that enjoyed a good joke and took things in stride… But she was not, and at first he was not the charming hero I love. But boy was I wrong about being unsure over this book! The characters were so well written, the plot line interesting, and the research impeccable. I loved watching Harriett and Christopher come to understand and know each other. I really enjoyed reading about a couple that were not without their flaws and had real human emotions and actions but were able to set those aside and come to know each other and roughing out each other’s sharper edges. It was a beautiful love story, and I will definitely be reading more from this author!

The second half of the book got slightly better but the first half was torture neither character was very likeable. The supposed witty banter was a boring cliche.
