Good basic rules for BLW. We'll see how it gets implemented and then maybe I'll come back to review again!

Reassuring book! I felt a lot more comfortable after reading it, which is all you can ask for!

I appreciate the photos and details in this book! I'll definitely be referencing the preparation instructions and images when it's time to start solid food. I do think there could have been a little more discussion on gagging and choking.

This book was a nice balance between giving me the needed information but not overloading me with too much. It told me what I needed to know about feeding my baby, and not too much more. I didn't really anticipate the information about allergies being included in such detail, but it could be helpful for those who are concerned about them. This book is made up of lists of foods, suggestions for preparation (separated into younger ages and older ages), and the author's personal experience feeding her own children. This book doesn't feel "preachy" or like it is pushing baby-led weaning too hard. In fact, her attitude is very relaxed and "go with the flow," which many parents need.

This book went suuuper fast. This is one you could read when you have the baby (I do not yet) and the majority of it was listing how to prepare 26 different foods, which was really repetitive. However, as someone who was pretty sure they wanted to do BLW, I didn't need the preachy part first and this covers all the basics to do it safely-- portions, allergies, foods to avoid. I'm sure I'll revisit more practically in like... a year when it's more relevant.
