3 stars for the plot, but the romance was very weak in this one.

Probably my favorite of the series, but there's something about the characters and the world here that just doesn't quite work for me and prevents me from really getting into the story.
Again, I felt like the relationship moved way too quickly, which, I get we're working with "true mates" and all, but I didn't feel like the emotional angst and struggle really lived up to what I would have expected with the pairing.

This was pretty boring. I don't know why, the idea of the plot was fine but the execution fell flat almost always. I was never particularly entertained or surprised (except for how badly Cam went about that last meeting-that was a horrible way of delivering crucial information), so I'm disappointed. 1.5 stars.

This is my first Regent's Park Pack book and while there are segments of the book I didn't understand because it was covered in the past books, I wanted to like Gareth and Cam's story going in. Cam wants to be left alone, to deal with pack issues, as he continues to deal with the death of his wife ten years previous. Gareth has wanted Cam but held back, but now is unable to deny his feelings for the man.
There seemed to be a lack of connection, especially on Cam's part, who is living in the past. I understand that he lost his wife, but I felt the story dwelled on it way too much. Also, having Rachel point out the fact of Gareth had feelings for Cam was a little bit annoying since Gareth certainly isn't shy about showing that all he wants is Cam. I found that I didn't like Cam as much as I wanted to, which detracted from the story as a whole.
A good read but I couldn't connect with the MC and that took me out of the story.

Mine grrr!
Well, I liked this but not as much as the previous three. I didn’t quite but Cam and Gareth as a couple.

Man oh man, do I love Cam’s character! That said, I also disliked how quickly his feelings for Gareth turned in a dime. I wish there had been more build up between them. I liked Rachel and I can’t wait to read the next book, which is about her.
