Honestly this was a wild ride. WHY? The slavery/torture in the beginning is not a vibe and the world was a little flimsy. I think stories like this always need to be longer. I’m sorry, but am I supposed to believe she just woke up and was like: Yes I definately want to be with the person who’s been treating me like sh*t this whole time, who has all the power in the world over me? I understand the allure of the premise and it can be done nicely, but for me this was not the way.
