Much more plot driven than the other Paladin books. The beginning of the book dragged a little when they were finding out information. Would have liked more character interactions and development. The relationship with Shane and Marguerite was nice, but nothing I was terribly invested in. The end felt slightly confusing/rushed with the demon possessing Judith, but that’s probably a lead in to a sequel book. Overall, held my interest much more in the second half.
