This book was supposed to be a quick read, but everytime I picked it up I was always inclined to put it back down. Not a good sign. I think it has to do with terms like "jingle bells" and "antlers" and "shoving my tree up her chimney". Witty, but very distracting.
While the book wasn't bad, I guess it just wasn't the Christmas novella I was looking for.

Book Review: Exs and HoHoHos
Author: Pippa Grant
FIVE STARS
This Short novella by Pippa Grant is a second chance romance.
Having been in a very serious relationship in college, Jake and Kaitlyn, have both changed a lot in the eight years they have been apart.
Can Jake convince Kaitlyn that he still loves her and wants her back? Will Kaitlyn give Jake and Christmas another chance?
This book is a very fast paced second chance romance with some pretty funny moments.
And don't forget the Berger twins are in this book as well. They seem to be a permanent fixture in the Pippa Grant books, but I can't say that I am complaining. They are hilarious and their antics will leave you laughing out loud. Enjoy the turkey and the signed foreheads.
I am finally taking advantage of the fact I have a Kindle Unlimited Subscription and I am hoping to find more Pippa Grant books there. I want all the words, on all the pages, to keep me laughing.

This was a very SHORT read, but it was great! Some parts had me giggling, and the end had me teary eyed. Love the magic of Christmas!

A novella that has so much Christmas joy that it’s almost too sweet, but it’s just the right amount of sweet and cuteness mixed with some good steam!

I thought this would be a cute Xmas book to read in between baking and cooking for tomorrow. It was not. One, the reason they broke up eight years prior was BEYOND childish. Two, he sure didn't wait long to move on by knocking up an OW and marrying her. Three, she falls right back into bed with him a couple of hours after seeing him for the first time in eight years. Instead of HOHOHO, this was BAH HUMBUG.
