Still loving this series!

Not a fan of how they "awakened" and pivoted Nagi's character behavior
Spoiler I prefer the raw talent of a lazy boy storyline
but I'm still excited to see what will happen next.

The minor plot twist reveal about Blue Lock was a bit predictable, I've had that theory back when I was reading volume 2, and I'm glad that the writers went in that direction too.

At this point, I've finished the episodes available on Netflix (1/3/2023) so I already have an idea of what the second selection brings.

Phew. That's it, I can finally give this up. It just isn't for me. I'm a purist when it comes to football, and the concepts found in Blue Lock are just too out there. At least Captain Tsubasa was grounded enough. Kaneshiro's attempt to "rebuild soccer from scratch" is ludicrous... it feels like he's trying too hard to be edgy. About every character is annoying and flat... but the worst is the repetition. Same schtick, over and over again. The only redeeming quality is the art.
