My roommate has been trying to get me to read these books for MONTHS and I just got around to it and BOY AM I GLAD I DID. I felt so connected to the characters from just one book and I love them all so dearly. I audibly giggled multiple times, I was on edge, it’s got tension and suspense and it was so good. I love Noah with my whole entire heart.

It was quite good. I had a hard time staying in focus at first. I was busy while reading this book, so it took me some time to read which is odd for me. I loved the way Maggie Siefater wrote this book also. There were some words I've never seen before which interested me.

3.5 stars — I liked the plot, but I had a really hard time caring about any of the characters. (I only actually like blue and Adam, and I think Gansey should bite it. Buzz buzz.) The worst bit is just that the ending was super unsatisfying. I know it’s different for everyone, but I’m of the belief that even if a book is meant to be part of a series, it should function well as a stand-alone too, and I just don’t think this one does. but I know that’s something that bothers me and not everyone. That said I don’t think I would continue reading this series if it wasn’t for the high recommendation from a friend lmao

I have high expectation and i actually like this book

The characters definately carried this book imo. Adam is my fav <3. Also i like Blue and Gansey's interaction their so cute. Ronan and his raven, Chainsaw is also cute ngl how a rough character like him found kind of comfort in a bird. And oh Noah..

The plot is okay though i kinda guessed the twist but it doesn't really ruin the overall story.

I'm curious what would happened in the next book.

More like a 3.5/5
Very character-focused, I wish there was more of a plot throughout the book instead of all the plot being at the very end. I know why it can't be blue's pov the entire time but I wish it could have been just her pov.

"In three different ways he'd earned them all days or weeks or months before, and when it came to it they'd all follow him anywhere." (pg. 51)
