My first proper romance apart from Red, White and Royal Blue. The characters are so relatable to real life people. Tugged at my heart string in all the right ways. Ellie was frustrating at times, but that’s the point- you’re frustrated with her. Thinking I should pick up The Charm Offensive now.

Such a cosy, cute queer Christmas romance. Got me reflecting on failure, love, connection, sexuality and the meaning of family. I was rooting for the characters and saw myself in them as well. Would read again!
