I loved it! Love anything Arthurian, and this one is so well done with the way magic is incorporated and telling the same story in such a unique way. So excited to read the next one!

I knew this would be an easy 5 stars within the first few chapters and it did not disappoint!

I think the personal and generational trauma aspect of this book is done exceptionally well.
The only part I’m complaining about is the fact that Bree and Selwyn are so incredibly teenage and cringy sometimes. Also the weird pop culture references made me physically cringe. “Did you just Lord of the Rings me?” Why! Is! That! A! Real! Sentence!

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This urban fantasy hits all the marks! Full of grief, love, anger, action, and of course magic! I loved every word, line, paragraph, page!! I will be recommending this to everyone looking for a fantasy read!

How interesting the concept is and the implications related to slavery, the more I would love this in a more adult book, as the main characters of YA are a bit too young for me. I would love to explore these feelings at a deeper level
