What an excellent middle-grade book, loved by this 40-something Autistic woman! Autistic Cora lives her life as a masked kid in the normal world, not shying away from her challenges. With thanks to her ADHD friend, she starts to understand that different doesn't equal bad or wrong, and to learn who she is and the value of what she brings.

But this is only one part of the story. Cora is a kid with grief, and a kid who has to navigate the social and educational issues of school life. But Cora also has to navigate what her brother's workplace is asking of her, and what the larger consequences are. After all, surely being able to process grief using AI will be a gift to families and those left behind after tragedy.

Adventure and intrigue and kids being kids, both learning and teaching, and finding their way. A fab book!
