I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was a roller coater of a ride. You got to know the characters well and it was a real insight in how people's past have a reflection.on their current life's. Also, how trauma shapes people. Also, it was a raw, honest story that people can always support each other no matter what they go through in life!

This was exactly the easy read that I needed - a perfect summer book. The characters and prose will stick with me after reading. Sure, some of the story lines could have been tied up better (Zoe? Quintin?) but they were all vivid and real to me reading the novel.

I didn't like some characters and felt indifferent to the rest. There isn’t much plot in this book which isn’t normally an issue for me but if I’m reading a character driven book, I need to like at least some of the characters. I also didn’t realise going into this book that it had a trigger wanting for suicide which I don’t want to read about especially if I’m not invested in the characters or the story anyway
