SERIES: Multi-author series Cosmic Kissed

An enjoyable read, though not amazing.

Like other books in the Cosmic Kissed series, the world-building introduces a unique take on a female-dominated Earth after a virus has killed off most of the men.

I found in a number of scenes to be a bit disjointed, and for the flow to be a bit disappointing. For example:

1. The villain is a villain. From beginning to end. And it's very very clear that she's a villain set out darstardly deeds. It's almost ridiculous the number of times that she gets caught discussing her evil plans, with it uniquely the heroine always overhearing by simply being in the right place at the right time. It's unrealistic in a cringe-worthy way.

2. The relationship dynamic jumping between Brixton and Raylar is also a bit painful, thought Charity Wells has attempted to explain Brixton's behaviour as attention seeking.

Overall I enjoyed reading the novel, despite its flaws. It was a worthy addition to the multi-author series Cosmic Kissed.
