It was a mistake not rereading the whole series before this book. I think I read the last one in 2018 or 2019. It took me a bit to reorient myself in the world and remember all the characters.

I liked it! I relate to Nesta a lot more than Feyre. I liked the female friendships and the setting. It's not a 5 star for me because I don't think it needed to be that long and I wasn't surprised by anything.

I wonder who the next couple will be! I feel like they are setting up Elain and Azriel but I'd like to see Azriel and Gwyn. Elain is just so boring. I don't know how she hasn't snapped yet with everyone "protecting" her. Will Emerie and Morr get together? Will Tamlin have a redemption book? Who will Eris end up with? So many couple possibilities!

5 stars for nesta’s journey. i’m docking imaginary points for the multiple instances of the miscommunication/no communication trope, the amount of fucking (it’s too much) and how all conflict was saved til the end as usual which is fine when there’s another book to dive into.. but here there isn’t

2. I think I..... Hate Rhys??? He's SUCHHH a dick why did he ACTUALLY think Nesta would attack Feyre when she found out she was pregnant?? Hello?????
3. Elaine was wrong for being like "u took my trauma and made it about u" like hey it partially WAS about her because it was like Her Fault™ the cauldron LIKED ELAINE

I hate that everyone is sucking Rhys' dick all the damn time!!! Cassian I understand u have loyalty to him but Nesta is ALLOWED TO HAVE AN OPINION BRO he even disagrees w some of the shit but is too pussy to say something??? Grow a pair maybe????

He threatened to KILL HER because she told her SISTER about the dangers of her OWN pregnancy that EVERYONE ELSE FUCKING KNEW like sorry????

Nesta isn't perfect but honestly she's the most fucking realistic character in the whole series!!!! U can't tell me if u were in her situation u wouldn't also be fucking mad???? I'm glad she found her girls tbh she needed people that Saw her also luv the house
