Definitely needed this one after book 3!!!! :)
I really liked Hudson (except for some times when he wasn't sure *eyerolls* lol).
Charlie was awesome, I liked hearing his accent in my head when I read his parts!
So in the beginning, we meet some familiar ladies and then in one of the deleted scenes, Grandpa reveals something!!!! Ahhhh, I feel like I missed something (I knew I should have read all the Marian books first, lol - but I will!!!!)

I picked up this book when I saw it on KU in the hope that I would enjoy it more than the other books in the series. And, after everything, I did.
This book focuses on the 'straight' one in the Wilde family, Hudson, after he gives his girlfriend a tap dispenser he invented in a ring box in front of her family. Surprisingly enough, this doesn't go down well and Hudson ends up on a plane to Ireland where he meets Charlie, a man who he is instantly attracted to but doesn't want to act on considering the mixing of business and leisure. Of course, when Charlie comes back to America and meets his whole family, things change.
I liked this book a lot more than I have previous ones in the series. Charlie and Hudson felt genuinely attracted to each other but it was their fatal flaws that were getting in the way of them being together, rather than any ridiculous last minute conflict. I was bracing myself for the conflict in the last quarter of the book which would sour me on the whole thing, like it had in the last in the series, but I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be the two of them having their own issues, not just one person screwing up. Hudson struggling with his sexuality and not wanting his whole family's opinion and questions while he was dealing with what he needed to figure out. I also liked how the two grandpas were involved in the story but weren't as uncomfortably inappropriate as they have been in previous books in the series.
Definitely four stars!

Enjoyable
A good story, nice slow burn. Very romantic and just enough of a hint I'm interested to know what's up in the next book.

Loved it!
This has to be my favourite Wilde book and the narration is perfect for it! I loved Hudson, Charlie and the Wilde clan. The other supporting characters were fun as well, especially Stevie. If you were lucky enough to get his story (during the M&M author freebie event), you'll see why he's a fan favourite 😍
Now I can't wait for when the Marians and the Wildes eventually link up 😊

Another great addition to the Wilde series
Hudson’s Luck is the fourth installment in the Wilde series and it’s another winner. The only straight Wilde brother is forced to rethink things she. He’s attracted to the beautiful male bartender he finds in Ireland when he”s sent there on business.
As usual Lennox does a great job balancing humor and drama. She develops characters with depth and strong personality...you really feel like you know these familiar characters as well as the new entries. The storyline is unique and presents interesting dilemmas for the characters.
There is a fantastic and intriguing connection between the opening scene and the final line of the book (in the deleted scenes) and I cannot wait to see how that ultimately plays out. It will most definitely be the height of entertaining when we see it.

Another gem from the pen of Lucy Lennox
I love Lucy's way of writing, she always delivers a romance with only a bit of angst, lots of hot men doing sexy things and plenty of humour.
Hudson's love story is a sweet and spicy tale of someone finding their person and it not mattering that it was someone of the same sex.
The attraction between him and Charlie bounced off the page in spades, the charm of the Irish finding a new home in the Texas heat and I loved how they both overcame their fears to take a chance on a future.
The little beer tap thing Hudson's invented did make me laugh as it sounds very much like the sprinkler found on most beer pumps here in the North of England which is tightened or relaxed to create the foamy head on a pint of bitter :)
As ever, we get to catch up with the rest of the Wildes and we get another guest appearance from Aunt Tilly, Grandma and Irene and more clues as to the eventual connection between the Wildes and the Marian family. I can't wait to get that one!
Next up is Saint and that should be another cracker.

“Talk to me, brother. I know you’re not fine. You’ve been walking around with leprechaun rainbows arching over your head, but now you look like someone shat in your pot of gold.”
3.5*
I liked the fourth book the best so far, probably because there wasn’t as much drama as was in the previous books. I liked both Hudson – cutie pie with extra quirks on the side, and Charlie – the sassy Irish ginger. They were just fun to read about.
The book was excellent, but that really is the worst tattoo
