Ugh almost done with this review and Safari crashes on me and loses it all...let's try this again.

I really loved this one. It was sweet with just enough angst for Hudson as he came to terms with finding himself falling for a guy for the first time. He and Charlie were adorable together. There was never a time where you really worried that these two wouldn't figure things out, but there was things they needed to work through. Of course Charlie had to risk himself trusting his heart to an ostensively straight guy.

I really enjoyed the dual locations here both Ireland and Texas. They had their different flavors and I liked how you could feel the difference. Charlie is such a product of his homeland. Hudson was thrown completely off his game in this foreign land with the biggest temptation he's ever seen dangling in front of him. I liked how he dealt with his feelings, his first time being attracted to a man. And Charlie, well he was so sweet with just enough of that Irish fire to keep him interesting. I liked his feisty side and that he wasn't a push over. But the connection between these two was palpable.

This was one of those happy reads that you just know is going to work out and you're never left clutching your hands together waiting to see how it'll work. There were bumps in the road they had to get through, new paths that had to be forged, but their feelings were only going to grow.

I was a little turned off by how quickly Hudson is suddenly totally fine with his exploration of his sexuality after 2/3 of the book being him hemming and hawing, but as all of these books are: a delight.

After I read some of this authors standalones and the Marian series I ended up printing out her reading order list with the goal to read all of them - but wow this Wilde series has felt like a chore to get though.

I think this is what the kids call mid ?

Hudson & Charlie
4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This might be my favorite of the series. Which, it's not a particularly great series, but an okay way to pass the time.

All of my issues with previous books pretty much hold true, but I did like the relationship here and I was pleasantly surprised by the sexual dynamics, which were pretty much what I wanted, but not what I expected this author to deliver.

Ending was rushed and felt a bit hokey, but that's in line with the rest of the book/series.

Loved it!

This has to be my favourite Wilde book and the narration is perfect for it! I loved Hudson, Charlie and the Wilde clan. The other supporting characters were fun as well, especially Stevie. If you were lucky enough to get his story (during the M&M author freebie event), you'll see why he's a fan favourite 😍
Now I can't wait for when the Marians and the Wildes eventually link up 😊

Hudson is sent to Ireland to broker a deal as punishment for a gift for his boss’s daughter goes wrong. Charlie is quite at peace with his life behind the bar and with his dogs but would like to stop falling for cheaters. The business Hudson is sent to manage in Ireland turns both their lives upside down but will it also bring them what they didn’t know they were missing?

Love Charlie and Hudson and the gang in Hobie. Hudson’s descriptions of Charlie are the best! Their meet cute is so memorable.

Soooooo Good!

Ugh! I loved this story! Ended up learning the hard way, tho, not to read aloud to your accountant wife about Hudson's job. Apparently Lucy waxed a little too poetic about the gorgeous Texan's financial analysis position....LOL. Who am I kidding, revving her up made the whole thing even better! Had fun reading her the sex scenes, too.... *wink*

3.5 stars. loved the witty banter. the scenes were steamy. overall a cute read.

I didn't expect things to stay state side. kinda bummed about that, a bit anti-climactic but overall well worth the read
emotional funny hopeful lighthearted

Serious and meticulous Hudson meets his match with Irish pub owner Charlie.  Bi awakening.  My favorite of the serious so far.
