This is the first book I've read by this author. The book follows Beauregard, a mechanic who is having serious financial issues.
Things I liked: I liked S. A. Cosby is writing a really great storyteller. I liked the pace of the novel it was filled with solid plot twist that once they started going down, truly made it a pageturner. I liked how the main character was fully flesh out. It made me want to root for him. Things I didn't like: The ending had a great build up however it wasn't as good as I wanted it to be.
Overall, it was a good suspense thriller, and I'm looking forward to reading more of his novel. Definitely recommend.

Great setting and characters. Hated the fat shaming. Hope he does better with that in future books.

For a book that started off in a Fast and Furious-esq style, I would say that things took an interesting turn.
Beauregard was an interesting character, and I liked that we saw him at various points in his life so it was easy to understand his motives.
This book, again, highlights identity and father-son relationships.
I have come to enjoy S.A. Cosby’s writing and I think that he has a very interesting mind.
However, the blood and gore in this book may have been a little more than I expected.

Incredible! This reads like a heist movie. The visual language is stellar.
