It must be impossible for S.A. Cosby to write a book I won’t like! The battle between who you should be and who you feel destined to be is an ever present theme in this novel alongside increasingly high stakes and violence. I was immediately immersed in Beauregard’s world and understood the decisions he made, driven by desperation and the “beast” within him, even when their consequences became evident. Highly recommended this book for those looking for a fast-paced thriller with depth.

This was a quick, fun read but not as good as Razerblade Tears. Cosby is an excellent writer and he grabs you from the start and keeps the foot on the gas. I’m a fan.
