I liked this first entry into the archaeologist Ruth Galloway mystery series. The main character, Ruth, sort of falls, or is dragged, into the murder mystery because of her profession; I like this more than the "I am a detective so of course I will solve a crime" kind of mystery.Archaeology is fascinating on its own, but throw in a murder and it's even better.
Secret book club. Didn’t care for this one. Being fat is not a personality trait. Everyone being fine with adultery is a no for me, dog.

Devoured this on my bus ride to and in the waiting room of my doctor’s office! I didn’t want to put it down! I love the other Elly Griffths series so it’s not shocking I also loved this one ! The characters were super interesting and I can’t wait to read more!
Idk what this says about me and myevil childless ways but I hated that she’s pregnant?! at the end of the book?! Ugh I’m glad she’s happy about it but it just seems like it’s going to bring a whole bunch of complications?!
