Hundreds of pages seemed to go by with not much happening. I’ve read in other reviews that a lot of things happen in this book to set up for the future, so I can only hope the future is a little more exciting.
That being said it is nice to see some of the characters we love come into themselves and get to be a family with (relatively) little tragedy (comparatively; don’t come after me), but it got tedious to read for a lot of the middle. The end picked up again, but I’m not sure if it’s because I wanted to finish or if it was actually getting more exciting. I’m glad I’m reading these digitally so I don’t have to lug the books around.
